A friend and I were approached by a professor of ours to recreate her personal website. The goal of the project was to recreate the site with a framework that allowed it to be responsive so that the content could be viewed no matter what device was used to access her site. Using Bootstrap as the framework, we took the design that our professor handed us and we built the site from the ground up, ensuring that all of the bugs we encountered along the way were ironed out. In the end, we delivered a one page site that has navigation that takes you to predefined anchors throughout the page, a carousel hero that displays some of the highlights from her work, and a gallery that opens up with a lightbox popup.
